The 3rd Annual Tour of Elgin

The Races:
The "Tour of Elgin" mountain bike marathon includes a whole day of festivities in the rural community of Elgin, New Brunswick. There will be gruelling 80km, 40km and 20km races for competitors. For children 10 and under, there will be a kids race ($2 entry fee). There will also be a guided Family Fun Ride for those wishing to take a leisurely ride through Elgin's fall foliage. A community pasta dinner will follow the day's activities with proceeds going to the Elgin Eco Association for their community based eco-tourism initiatives.

Where:
Bike race headquarters is at the Elgin Firehall/Community Centre at the Elgin corner across from the Elgin Country Market.

A new local walking trail is available for visitors and spectators looking to pass time. Trail maps will be available at the registration desk on race day.

8:00am - 11:00am: Race Registration
10:00am: 80km race starts
12:00pm: 40km race starts
12:10pm: 20km race starts
2:00pm: Children's Race Starts - age 10 and under ($2.00)
3:00 pm: Family Fun Ride along Pollett River (donations accepted)
4:00pm - 6:00pm: Pasta dinner and Awards Presentation at Elgin Women's Institute Hall
4:30pm: Awards presentation
