FREE-Riding Has Returned for 2005!

Port Coquitlam, BC -

Norco Performance Bikes is excited to announce the return of VPS-Fest, a customer appreciation day especially created for Norco riders. After an overwhelmingly positive response last season, Norco decided to expand the series with at least THREE confirmed events already, and two more potentially on the way.

The first event this season will take place on the July long weekend (July 1-3rd) just outside of Kamloops, BC at Sun Peaks Resort, a mountain known for its unique, challenging terrain. For the second western date, Aug 20-21st, the Norco crew will return once again to Mt. Washington on Vancouver Island – a staff and rider favorite from last year! And, just in case you eastern riders thought Norco had forgotten you – don't despair! Blue Mt. has generously partnered with Norco once again to host an eastern VPS-Fest on Aug 13-14 th.

At each event, riders will have the chance to win more than $5000 in prizes, including a Grand Prize of a 2005 VPS A-line frameset worth over $1800. If that isn't enough to get you off the couch, how about knowing that at least two of the mountains have committed to FREE park passes for the main day of the event for all Norco riders and at the very least the other mountains will have 1/2 price discounts. Norco of course, will once again provide their industry leading tech support team to dial in your bikes, as well as, full no-charge flat repair. Plus, you'll once again have the chance to chat and ride with members of our Factory Team, view the full compliment of 2005 bikes, and even, catch an early glimpse of some of the 2006 prototypes.

Oh wait... if all this wasn't enough, this year, if you pre-register and show up at any of the VPS-Fest events, you will be entered into our "Ride In Style" contest, AND, entered to win a 2006 VPS Savage. The "Ride In Style" contest will have one lucky winner at each location ripping all day on a 2005 Team DH, hanging out in the pits, and walking away with a ton of new riding shwag.

For the uninitiated, Norco created VPS-Fest two years ago to support our riding community through a customer appreciation day. In the past two years the event has grown and expanded into a much anticipated event on many Norco riders' calendars. Stay tuned in the coming months for more VPS-Fest updates, including the launch of the 2005 vpsfest.com website (coming soon), more info on the "Ride In Style" contest, pre-registration, info on discount accommodations, and much more...
