Ugly Ass Jam
Eastside Freeride (March 27, 2005) - Eastside Freeride Productions and Ugly Ass Bikes are pleased to announce the Ugly Ass Jam on May 6, 7, 8th in Montreal, Quebec. It will be a Pro and Amateur MTB park competition in Jam format. Riders will face off to win Prizes and to get a part of a $1000 purse.
Friday evening will be an open practice for Pros and Amateurs. Saturday will be the Amateur practice and jam and then a Pro practice will start at 6:00 PM. Sunday will be the Pro practice early in the morning, with the Jam getting underway at 3:00 PM. We will wrap up the weekend with an after party in one of Montreal's great bars.
Amateurs will be competing for an assortment of great prizes from our sponsors.
Entry fee for riders will be $40 to enter Pro and $30 for Amateur. The entry fee includes access to the park from Friday through Sunday.
Spectators will also be welcome, and cost for admission is $5 per day, or $7 for Friday through Sunday.
If you would like to confirm a spot in Pro, or Am, contact craigrobinson@eastsidefreeride.com. Once you have confirmed a spot, we will send you all of the additional contest information, as well as the waiver that you must sign to be able to ride in the contest.

Saturday
-9:00 am Amateur practice begins.
-1:30 pm Am rider meeting.
-2:00 pm Amateur runs begin. 4 riders for 6-minute runs.
-5:00 pm Judges calculate score, and prizes are awarded.
-6:00 pm Pro Practice begins.
-12:00 am Park closes. (When people stop riding)
Sunday
-9:00 am Pro practice.
-3:00 pm Contests begins. 3 riders for7-minute runs. 2 runs. Score is average of both runs.
